Shakeel Kazmi opened his law office in Jackson Heights in 1997. He has a JD from New York Law School and LLM from American University Washington College of Law. He also has a S.J.D (Doctoral degree) from Pace University in environmental law. Mr. Kazmi is also consultant in the Dubai Law Office of Ali Kh Alhosani - Advocates & Legal Consultants.
John Reeves graduated from New York Law School with a JD. He joined Shakeel Kazmi as an associate in 2000 and the two formed a partnership at the beginning of 2012.
Victor M. Tafur - of counsel - joined in 2025. He is admitted to practice law in New York and Colombia, South America, has a JD from Univeridad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia, LLM and S.J.D (Doctoral degree) from Pace University in environmental law.
In 2017 Kazmi & Reeves opened a second office in Middletown, NY to better serve the upstate community of clients.
